A Christmas Thank You
Thanks to all of you for your prayers and your partnership with Reformation Hope throughout 2010. With your help, RHI responded quickly to the devastation of the January 12th earthquake and continues working alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters, bringing recovery and renewed hope. Your efforts have empowered the completion of many milestones this year:
- Drilling a safe well on the compound for fresh water
- Restoring our orphanage compound wall
- Rebuilding the education building
- Constructing a new 2,000-person capacity church
- Sustaining a weekly Lord’s Day food-evangelism program
- Construction of pews and benches
- Building of shower and restrooms facility
- Acquisition and delivery of tractors and other farm equipment
- Reopening of primary school classes
- Construction of dining pavilion and playground
- Providing new bunk beds and mattresses for our orphans
- Erecting a permanent 8,000 gallon water storage tower
Reflecting upon all that God has accomplished this year, we are so very grateful that you have been a part of His amazing grace and blessing for the children of Haiti. May you all have a very blessed Christmas with your family and friends in celebration of Christ, and may the Lord continue to use you for His glory in Haiti and throughout His world.

New Advisory Board Members
We are pleased to announce that Marc Harrington and Greg Coussa have joined RHI’s advisory board. Our team is excited to add these men, their talents, and their passion for bringing the kingdom to Haiti.
Considering End-of-year Giving?
from Rev. Martin Hawley, director of development
As we prepare for 2011, RHI plans to expand our micro-finance business development, complete the irrigation system on our seventy-acre farmland, expand orphanage capacity, and move forward with improving transportation and housing. God willing, we will also begin radio station broadcasting from La Plaine. We continue to need your support for development in Haiti. Please include us in your prayers and your plans as you designate year-end giving.
RHI Needs 1,000 Entrepreneurs
Our business development focus in Haiti right now involves two key job-creating enterprises—a construction block making business, and an American-style restaurant. The combined cost for these two businesses is $75,000. If you would like to invest in economic development in Haiti, then we are looking for you! RHI needs 1,000 partners willing to invest $75 each into these two projects. Doing so will immediately create 30 new jobs among our Haitian families and provide much needed income for the ministry as well. So how about it? Give a Haitian a leg-up rather than a handout.
