Open-field Evangelistic Services: 36 Professions of Faith in Christ!
During our recent Reformation Hope leadership visit to La Plaine, Pastor Paul led three nights of evangelistic services out in the open field God has provided for the new medical clinic location. These Christ-centered and worshipful services featured much singing of praises and hymns, prayers, and faithful Gospel preaching. The crowds grew each night from a few church members into a large audience by the time the sun went down. Many people passing by stopped to listen. Both Pastor Alan and Pastor Martin were able to give their personal testimonies and exhort those attending to profess faith in Jesus Christ. Jean reports than some 36 Haitians professed saving faith in Christ. We give thanks to God for the Spirit's work in applying Christ to these new believers.

New Kitchen and Dining Hall Feeds More Than 1,000 Haitians for Lunch
The new kitchen and dining hall facility was put to an extreme test on the June 24th celebration Sunday, as over 1,000 Haitian men, women, and children were fed a large plate of rice and beans with a piece of American-style fried chicken. The kitchen staff was so delighted with their equipment and the speed with which it enabled them to get such a big job done. Traffic control was the biggest challenge with so many plates to assemble and so many people waiting in line. All of us have to say another big "thank you" to Church of the Messiah (Canton, Georgia), Young-Meadows Presbyterian Church (Montgomery, Alabama), and many of our other regular ministry partners who made such a marvelous and up-to-date facility possible!

Second-year Anniversary Service Celebrated
Sunday, June 24th marked the second anniversary celebration of the rebuilding of the school and the dedication of the new church after the devastating January 2010 earthquake. The largest parade so far put together for this event began at the newly purchased land where the medical clinic will be built and ended inside the beautiful worship center which the Lord provided so marvelously back in 2010. The volunteers and staff of Souls Winning did a wonderful job preparing the buildings, the walls, and all the details for this monumental annual event on the church's calendar. The sanctuary was fully packed and the extensive service was broadcast on Haitian television. Pastor Martin brought greetings to our Haitian brothers and sisters and then preached a message from Ephesians 5 concerning the biblical way for husbands to treat their wives. Abusive behavior of husbands towards wives is prevalent in Haiti and in conjunction with our women's ministry this is a topic which must be addressed with Haitian men. After the message, the men were asked to publicly commit themselves to seek Christ-like, biblical marriages. Pastor Alan also preached, emphasizing the last verses of 1 Timothy 3 and exhorting the congregation to live as the household of God. This year's anniversary celebration was truly a foretaste of the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.

Reformation Theological Academy Organized
In conjunction with the usual pastor training done by Pastor Jean and by other pastors from the U.S., Pastors Alan and Martin met with the core, long-term theological students to discuss the formation of a governing board to oversee the creation of a Haitian Bible college and seminary in conjunction with Miami International Theological School (MINTS). There will be a lot more information on this exciting new development in the months ahead. At this first meeting Pastor Jean Paul was elected the school's president and Pastor Alan Lutz the vice president. Haitian students were selected as the school's secretary, assistant secretary, and treasurer.

Summertime Is a Strategic Time for Giving to RHI
This season is typically our lowest in terms of sustaining contributions and partnership support. Many folks are on vacation or have other demands on their resources. It would be such a blessing for Reformation Hope to receive an investment of any size from our ministry partners moved of God to help us through the July and August time period. Thank you to everyone for your faithful prayers and your financial support of this kingdom ministry.
