Medical Clinic Building Nears Completion
Amazing progress has been made on the medical clinic building construction since our April Ref Hope Report. The walls and the roof are now completed and work has begun on the exterior coating prior to the finish painting. As you can see from the photos, virtually all of the structural work is done and the project is moving into the interior finishing stage. Of course flooring, fixtures, cabinets, doors and windows remain to be installed. Here in the U.S., Dixie Salvage in Fort Payne, Alabama is putting together a container load of these additional items, including a shower surround, hurricane-rated windows, vinyl flooring, and much more. Our medical advisor, Dr. Wiley Smith, continues his work of obtaining medical supplies, medical furnishings, and a computerized medical records system necessary for the clinic's future services to the health needs of the La Plaine community.

Cherokee Christian School Children Partner With Ref Hope
Cherokee Christian School classes donate to RHI.Recently, Executive Director Martin Hawley had the privilege of visiting some of the teachers and 1st and 4th grade classes of Cherokee Christian School in Woodstock, Georgia. Cherokee has a long history of partnership with Ref Hope and this kingdom relationship deepened as these children poured out their hearts and their efforts in compassion and support of their fellow school children in Haiti. The classes of Mrs. Martha Kirby – First Grade, Miss Katie Griffin – First Grade, Miss Lynn Jerguson – Fourth Grade, and Mrs. Michelle Powell – Fourth Grade worked together for RHI as their service project. The children, their parents, and their teachers working together collected many boxes of new towels, washcloths, toothpaste, first aid supplies, and other wonderful items for the Souls Winning Orphanage. In addition, they raised over $400 to help RHI transport all of these items to Haiti. Along with these much-needed items, the 1st and 4th graders recorded Bible verses in French and in Creole, created some original artwork, and included notes of support and affection. Many thanks to all of you at Cherokee Christian School from the Reformation Hope family!

Haiti Orphan Sponsorship Improvements on the Way
A Ref Hope team led by Rev. Fred Goodwin is moving forward rapidly in improving our orphan sponsorship program. In pursuit of our goal to have all 63 children sponsored, as well as the orphanage support staff, Fred's team has created a new web-based interface that will be going live soon. Other improvements planned include the capability for child sponsors to have face-to-face and voice communication through supervised 'Skype-like' sessions using the internet. More details will be coming soon as this improved sponsorship program is ready for its roll out.

New Orphanage May Soon House Our Children
We want to thank the Northwest Georgia Presbytery Missions Committee for their support of our growing vision for a new orphanage building. The committee approved a motion in support of this concept and also voted a $500 "seed money" investment in the project. Defining this new project, which is necessary to meet new Haitian orphanage standards, will be a major topic for decision at the next Ref Hope board meeting this month. Please be in prayer for our leadership team and for Jean Paul and his Souls Winning Ministries team in Haiti. Pray that all of us may be faithful to Christ and his kingdom and that God will be glorified, while our children receive the best possible care, schooling, encouragement for their future and that of their nation.
