Third Annual Earthquake Recovery Dedication Anniversary Is June 30th!
This month our Haitian partners at Souls Winning Ministries and the Presbyterian Church of Haiti will host the third community-wide celebration marking the anniversary of the dedication of the rebuilt compound following the devastating January 12, 2010 earthquake. The event is one of the most important during the year for Pastor Paul, the children, and all the church congregation. This year even more of the community will be served as part of the festivities. Jean expects to feed some 4,000 people this year immediately following the parade and worship service. Souls Winning will also honor local police officers for their help to the ministry, and will be ordaining five new deacons to help serve the family of Christ. We praise God for this annual special event and ask you to pray that many from the surrounding community of Marin would come to faith in Christ during the joyful celebration service.

New building site for medical clinic.Building Site of Clinic Offers Us Room to Grow
Many of you know that the new medical clinic is located along one end of the front quarter of the new eight-acre tract Reformation Hope in Haiti acquired last year. With new orphanage standards announced this year by the Haitian government, RHI is in planning discussions about moving the orphanage to the new compound site and adding some additional features to the facility for the benefit of our children. What would RHI do with the older, smaller compound? Well, the original compound would remain the home for the local Presbyterian church and for the primary and vo-tech schools. At this stage, we also believe that the two-story home will be converted to use for needed office space. The board of directors is developing a master plan and phased development project for the use of both compound sites with the assistance of Perry Poynter, an architect based in Nebraska.

Medical Clinic Progress Report
Work continues at a brisk pace on the new medical facility in Marin/La Plaine which will be known as Clinique Médicale de la Réforme. The focus of the construction is now on installing interior floor tiles and painting the exterior of the building. Important additional items such as the hurricane-rated windows, doors, ceiling fans, bathroom fixtures, cabinets, and the solar power system, will be shipped into Haiti and installed as soon as the Haitian government has granted Souls Winning Ministries what is known in Haiti as a Quitus document. This is a certificate that would allow Pastor Paul to import the medical clinic items from the U.S. and obtain a franchise license, freeing RHI from having to pay the often burdensome customs fees in Port-au-Prince. Our medical advisors, Dr. Wiley Smith and Dr. Richard Kennedy, are now assisting us with interviewing and hiring the Haitian clinic director and a Haitian doctor. Quality Christian staffing is a primary task that must be completed before the clinic may begin serving the community's health needs. Please pray for the Quitus process to be concluded favorably and swiftly and for wisdom in hiring the medical professionals God has chosen for the clinic.

Additional Need
God has provided in so very many ways for this project. While we have the resources to complete the construction and begin operations at the clinic for some months, there will be an ongoing need for funds for the basic operation. RHI sees this clinic has another form of Gospel outreach to the surrounding community and plans to support this work for many years to come. We need your help to ensure that a high quality of professional, caring Haitian staff are always in place to serve those in need. Your support of the clinic's operations will also help put Haitians to work, as the facility will be used to train home health care workers and those considering future professional studies in nursing and medicine.
