“Boy Goofing Off”

At the closing of our recent auctions of original Linda Maphet paintings of Haitian scenes, we had one painting—the little boy hamming it up for the camera—that did not receive any bids despite more than 50 viewers. We have decided to relist this whimsical painting for the next seven days.

We have lowered the starting bid from $250 to $200 for this finely-executed original art. It is virtually impossible to obtain an original painting from an artist with extensive training and a body of established work for this unheard of price.
