Build a Church

Souls Winning Ministries has launched a new church plant in Jacmel, on the south coast of Haiti. This congregation has been meeting regularly since a series of evangelistic tent meetings took place in this major city area not long after the 2010 earthquake.

For several years, the church has been meeting in a home, owned by a carpenter and his wife. The house and worship, with room to accommodate about 50 persons, is far outgrown as the gathering of up to 250 Haitians cannot squeeze into the space. Pastor Jean Paul, with assistance from Reformation Hope, the ACTS Fund Foundation, Midway Presbyterian Church, and some individual donors, have managed to purchase a desirable, well–situated building site on about 4 acres along the main road just east of Jacmel. The land was acquired for $105,000.

The next step is to raise the funds for the first stage of construction for what will eventually be a multi-use facility, including a church, a school, and a pastor’s home. The estimated total cost for this very strategic project is currently $592,700.

Reformation Hope is seeking partner investments of any size from $50 to $50,000 in order to reach this goal and fully fund Pastor Paul and Souls Winning’s vision for this ministry center in the heart of Jacmel’s Voodoo-centered region. Every $50 donation in this project will put another concrete block into the building or the compound walls of this new facility. Help us build a brighter, better, kingdom-driven Haiti through establishing another Christ-centered, Bible-based regional church hub in Haiti.
