Pastor Jean Paul Reports on the Recent Events in Haiti

Gas Riots

Grace, peace and many blessings from our God Jesus Christ,

We need all of you to pray for Haiti. The violence is unbearable and the hopelessness is so great. We are here, installed by Jesus as a center for life, a lighthouse, and we are doing our job to the best of our ability. However, since last weekend, when the Haitian government announced the gas price 54% increase, it has made it almost impossible for the mainstream people to survive. There are riots all over the country and looting in all the major cities. Transportation is paralyzed everywhere and there is no food for the people to eat. Water has become a luxury for the people and access to medical facilities has also become very difficult. We need your prayers and Haiti needs Jesus for a divine intervention. Now people are burning tires over the newly paved road that we waited so long for and there is no credible voice that they will to listen to. Pray for us please. We need peace and we need to be able to freely do our job as God has called us to do. We thank you all for supporting us and we need you now more than ever. I also ask you personally to pray for my children. Especially for my daughter Nathalie who is doing her internship at the Atlanta CDC. Amanda is serving in the U.S. Army, while my son Benz is now a very busy public school teacher. Jesus is good to us. He will deliver Haiti if you help us pray.

We love you, we thank you.

In Him, Jean Paul

Building Haiti's FutureContinuing Need for Support for Jacmel Church and School Project

We want to remind all of our regular ministry partners and friends that our main expansion project for 2018–2019, the building of a new church and school facility in Jacmel, is in need of your financial support in order for the first phase of construction to get underway. The summer months are usually the lowest giving time of our fiscal year and so your assistance is more important than ever for us to raise the first 20% of our total project goal in order to begin excavation and construction. Once 20% of our total budget is reached in giving for Jacmel, we will be able to move quickly and build enough of an initial structure to allow the congregation to begin worshiping in their new location. Please consider an investment of any amount for our new south coast Haiti ministry center.
