Accountability
The board of directors of Reformation Hope take our stewardship of our partners’ giving very seriously. As more and more charitable organizations come under fire for mishandling resources, we recognize that financial transparency is crucial. In order to assure our partners that the funds they so generously provide are used as efficiently as possible and for projects taking place directly in the countries we serve, the board of directors sends the executive director to visit our program countries periodically; monitoring the progress of all key projects, and reporting back his findings to the organization.
We have also provided for public inspection our partnership giving trend since our founding in 2007, our expenditure percentages, and our most recent 990 IRS filing.
It is our commitment to maintain high standards of accountability between our organization and the indigenous people groups we serve. We are also committed to operating on the lowest possible overhead, maximizing the percentage of resources devoted directly to assistance and development projects within the countries we serve. It is, however, necessary to assure that we have resources for project management, reporting to churches, bookkeeping, and other necessary oversight.
