Temporarily on Hold:
The land we leased and began developing became embroiled in an ownership rights dispute with the local farmers on one side, and the owner of record and his representatives in the city government on the other side. After several days of armed conflict, the dispute was brought into the Haitian justice system in hopes of a just and peaceful settlement. We are advised at present that it is still unsafe for us to return to farming this land.
